Product Test: Nike Zoom Elite
I just love doing product testing & reviewing it.
Let me re-introduce this beauty, Nike Zoom Elite 2. Falls under the lightweight racing series.
Took out for a test during our 5k Fat Run with the #FatRunners Crews. Total 20 miles on this Elites, and below is my review.
Let me re-introduce this beauty, Nike Zoom Elite 2. Falls under the lightweight racing series.
Took out for a test during our 5k Fat Run with the #FatRunners Crews. Total 20 miles on this Elites, and below is my review.
Weight: 10.5oz in total. Not as light as my previous trainers (Lunarracer 2), but i believe Running is not about the light shoe, is the right shoe.
Upper: The new installment for this series Elites is the new adaptive strap around the uppers. It gave you a more firm lace support around the mid arch area just like a belt. It locks firmly of your feet & the shoe to avoid inner movement and blisters. And finishing with a breathability mesh to give us the ultimate ventilation during your runs.
Fore foot: As for the fore foot area, i felt it is a little wider. I gave me an uncomfortable feel when i toe off during my run. I recommend to stick with your true. Please try it on before you make your purchase.
Soles: The best attributes of this shoe goes to the comfort support of the Zoom technology soles. Commonly the Zoom system cater mostly to lower ground feel for fast runners. Surprisingly i felt extra comfort around the mid arch around. A well balance through out my fore foot & hill support. Similar feel to the Lunar series.
Overall the new Zoom Elite is highly recommend to all those who are seeking for a light weight running shoe with a minimal soles support. Easy for a 10k runners.

Back For the Future: Nike Partners with The Michael J. Fox Foundation and Original Film Creators to Pursue a Future Without Parkinson’s Disease
As what all sneakerheads predicted, bring back the iconic Back to the Future's Nike MAG shoe (aka Marty McFly). But sadly it won't be hitting on our shelf as Nike today announced that 1500 pairs of the mythical 2011 NIKE MAG shoes will be auctioned on www.nikemag.eBay.com with all net proceeds going directly to The Michael J. Fox Foundation.
The first rechargeable footwear from Nike, the 2011 NIKE MAG shoes, was designed to be precise replicas of the original from Back to the Future II. The aesthetic is an exact match, down to the contours of the upper, the glowing LED panel and the electroluminescent NIKE in the strap. The only deviation from the original is additional foam support in the ankle and toe box for increased comfort. The 2011 NIKE MAG illuminates with the pinch of the “ear” of the high top, glowing for five hours per charge.
“We wanted to translate the excitement people have for the ‘greatest shoe never made’ and for the Back to the Future into positive action,” said Mark Parker, Nike CEO, who was on the Back to the Future II set in 1988 when Fox donned the original NIKE MAG shoes. “But the long-term objective is to use our creativity to raise unprecedented awareness so the Foundation can achieve their goal of eradicating Parkinson’s disease.”
One hundred and fifty pairs of the 2011 NIKE MAG shoes will be auctioned each day for ten days at www.nikemag.ebay.com, via eBay’s Fashion Vault, a differentiated platform for select designer and branded fashion events. The auction starts today and will end September 18. In addition, the shoes are listed using eBay Giving Works, the company’s innovative online philanthropy program that enables millions of people to easily connect with and donate to organizations they care about.
Will Nike ever come out with a power-lacing shoe like the original Nike McFly? We just have to wait and see..

Is always our nature to innovate, to make things better, lighter, stronger, faster. Making shoes for Athletes makes us continually thinking how can one shoe make our Athlete better, stronger, faster?
Once there's a crazy men told me, a pair of shoe only contributed 1% of an athlete's success. I felt pretty lousy as my job is heavily against that.
Do you think the light weight Flywire technology enhance faster speed?
Do you think the Air technology enhance cushioning impact support?
Do you think the Free technology enhance barefoot running?
A pair of shoe raises self -confident, inspires hopes, defines gravity, and even break records.
A pair of shoe makes us stand on our feet, gives us goose bumps, brings out the dream in us and gives us attention.
A pair of shoe defines nation, religion and sex.
My dream is to have my pair of shoe to be the forefront of my Athlete's success.
After all, this is what my company has been doing since the day it started.

A crazy men once told me, success is when you're being labeled. Sound stupid at that moment, but now..... This is me..
Yes what I do for living is pretty complicated. Im a marketer for sports. With no guidebook nor bible or right or wrong to do my job. So how do you measure my success in Sports Maketing?
And yes i wear a varsity jacket, a big tee, camo shorts & a Jordan to work everyday. And yes, no one take me seriously, because im not wearing your so called #powersuits to work, nor i do not seat in the office in front of the computer, nor i carry a backpack then a leather laptop bag, nor i earn alot of money, drive big car. And yes watching football matches is part of my job. Im not here to be like you!
This is what i am..
Is always my nature to search for my personal potential, always a dreamer. A dream that drives me to live, a dream that motivates me to move, to push harder, and a dream to one day to inspired others.
I live my life with these 3 strong words, TEACH, MOTIVATE & INSPIRE. I apply these to all part of my life. Constant searching for the Sound of Victory, and hope one day my story will be heard.
Giving a pair of shoe to an athlete has continually made me think, how do it make him faster, stronger, bolder?
How do we bring out the athlete, the company, the brand, the sports, the community, the nation?
How do we inspire the next generation?
How do we bring out the dreamer in us?
As sports marketer dedicated to the future needs of athlete, the constant investment of resources, technology & knowledge are needed to deliver back to the sport & our nation.
This make me stop and consider who should provide the excess to sports for future generation? Who should be responsible for the future athletes of the nation? Who should maintain and set the standard of the future sports? Who should find a better way to grow a successful sports marketing in the company?
A company become an example; become an inspiration, which open the nation mind to open the potential which we all have to be improved. Just like in sports, every new challenge create new discovery.
I been through the hardship in life, but eventually I take the responsibility of the "Facts of Life", I was determined to make a difference. Just that I believe in heroes & dreams, I also believe in the power of Human Potentials to overcome any obstacle, even those seem impossible.
So this is me, constant searching for personal growth till the day I found my "Sound of Victory"
Is hard to beat the System
