Average Joe's

How often do you argue with your dad? As for this Joe, i do all the times. Specially on quality on product. Our common argument is Nike. Average Dad is an adventurous person, mountain climbing, cycling & hiking is his specialty. So he have a fair share of equipment knowledge on his field. Through the years of trying out all different brands on outdoor gears, Nike is 1 of his most unpleasant experience. He always say that he encounter alot of Nike soles left on the track of the mountain. So Timberland or Hi-Tech is his choice. In the other hand, you looking at a Joe who love everything with advertising & marketing. Basketball & soccer is my game, Jordan Air Force 1 & Huarache is my specialty. I do use my Air Force Mid for basketball, Paintball, Fishing & Dodge ball. Those are my on-the-go sneakers, and it still working fine after all those years. So durability on performance sneakers of Nike is definitely top notch. The only problem i faced is the recent retro Jordan release.

So test put this to a test: On Dad trip up China.
So for the 1st test, let put Nike ACG Storm Fit Jacket on the test.

Price:
It cost little expense to me, but compare to all the others brand jacket with the similar attributes, Nike consider affordable.
But i brought it on a sales, so is OKAY!! haha

Style:
With the fluorescent base and 3M material on the flash, i consider Fly & safety. Definitely something i will rock.



Inside:
A reversible Storm-Fit nylon polyester & inner wool. Definitely will keep you dry & warm all day long.
Dual entry hand pockets which means which ever side you reverse, there pockets to keep your hand warm or stall your equipments.

Bonus:
Nike Grind Trims is an innovation material created from recycled athletic shoes. Original used in athletic surfaces like track and basketball courts, now it's also featured in the trims, zipper pulls, and cord locks of the jacket.
That means is eco friendly, how can you top that.

I have provided a list of question for dad to evaluate on the jacket, we have to wait to 2 weeks later to see the results.

I hope his happy with it, beacause if he is satisfied with it then he will pay my money back. hahaha

Up next, dad adventure to conquering Nepal mountain. I think the perfect candidate is Nike Zoom Morizaba which features my favourite Flywire technology. Anyone know where can i cop that?

Crazy week for The Average Joe..

Headed up north for work.. 1000++KM around small village.. Encounter some Average Dope stuff along the way..

Fell sick thru out the whole journey up north.. Drugged with beers & medication the whole night..

Easy Saturday nite.. Kick in with Dark knight Bluray with the boys..

Usual Sunday.. Lay back sun tanning.. Sun, water, tennis & beers..

Average Joe just cant get enough of Frogskins. Another great collaboration that we can get whole of it in this part of the world. *Not fair?* Ill say that just make it more unique.

This collaboration is between the Alway Funky Paul Smith & Oakley for their first sunglasses collection for Spring/Summer 2009. The concept is fresh, fun and striking colourways. As usual the collection is merged with matt rubberised finish, oakley have generate all their latest frogskin with matt finished frame, my guess is cheaper cost compare to the solid frame when the 1st collection came out.



These beauties only shelves 500 pairs & only be available to some exclusive Paul Smith shops. Fair? Joe say "Hell No"

*Lets just imagine this* Putting a bunch of Average Joe in a fashion, it gotta be free flow of drinks or the door gifts..
Definitely not for the Models.. Okay you caught us.. *Is Nike* How can you say NO to that.. A fashion show by Nike.. Joe will never say NO to that..

Basically we are the only Joe's there checking out on the upcoming summer release.. We're like "Damn.. look at those Prestos"
When ever a model walking through the run way.. Photographer snapping picture like crazy.. then u can see the Average Joe's looking at what he or she is wearing.. Thats what you get from a *Sneaker Freaker* & only when you're in a Nike Fashion Show.. *Is the Shoe*



Okay so We Average Joe is lucky enough to be invited to a closed Nike Fashion Show for the upcoming Summer Collection. Props to Nike Malaysia for the invites, honor to be present. Mad love from our Average Favvy' bogger: Gingerfish

Upon arrival, all i can see is mad multi colour lighting around the stage. At that moment you'll know this is gonna be a high energetic colourful fashion show. The one thing about Nike i love is how well they incorporates their apparel with the colour palate. *Never disappoint*

This show is doubly special for us Average Joe's.. Our own Average Jane Ms. Pak Sek is modelling for the show.. I remember texting her to gives us a fierce pose when she walking down the run way.. as we are at the best front role seat *right infront of the runway*

Along the red carpet, there are some showcase of the current & upcoming projects by Nike. "Old love Nike Cortez is heading back to our shoe shelf.. "

I remember back in those days, i have the classic Navy blue Cortez. I basically rock that for everything, school, PE class, basketball, weekend wear. That was like my everything shoe and i remember i got it for $30 in Melbourne. I remember i was rocking cortez to cortez through out my high school time, from blue to black then whites. It is just an affordable sneaker at that time. *Good ol' memories*
