Another year passed.. another year old.. i cant blieve myself the year 2008 just end like a flash light pass by.. All those countless Average BBQ & Average road trip.. We're just talking bout it the other day.. 2008 Average Joe really out do ourself.. So much happening.. i cant even rmb.. "Highlight " of the Year gotta go to our own LatinoHeat's Average BBQ Bash, Pretty Boy's Poolside Party & Ms. Ally's Surprise Bday bash..

SO IS MY TURN!!!


For my big day.. Average himself gotta do a little Elcerdo.. "The pork Heaven".. The much talk bout Elcerdo is my personal favvy dine-in place.. So some piglet, pork knuckle & a bottle of red wine.. perfect birthday dinner..

The famous plate breaking ritual is definitely an eye opener..
U can see my Pak Sek looking all tension wif his holding the plate.. ahaha

So the ritual from Spain is: To see how crispy is the piglet skin.. u hav to use a plate to chop it.. The lucky 1 which is none other then our own Pretty boy.. he gets the honor to choice Relationship OR Money!!! Then by throwing the plate is a ritual for making the dream come true..


Now my Birthday Wish.. hehehe.. Yea yea i "wish for more Frogskins this Year"

Okay.. finally the pic is out..

Average Joe's head down Pangkor

This trip planned out in 2 days.. the thing is the date we planned to go falls on a long weekend holidays.. thats spice up the difficulties on gettin accommodation.. after some hard work of scouting for a hotels by LatinoHeat & Jay-C.. We finally found a decent budget hotel to stay.. So the plan is on full throttle.. & thats happen on Ms.Pak Sek Chirtmas Party.. Last minute planning is Average Joe's speciatly..




So the plan is 8 of us in 2 different cars.. The journey to Pangkor is not as far as the last Average beach trip we have.. a total 3 hours of good fun music drive..

The Hotel !!! i dun really wanna talk bout it.. but FYI do not go to Coral Bay Hotel.. we have stayed in a cheap budget hotel b4.. but nothing compare to this.. Entrance is like a KTV join.. pool is pack wif school of kids.. Service is like crap.. Did zu Know.. They charge RM5 for everything.. Tower, pillow, tower is RM5 perday each.. even facilities like ping pong table is RM5 rental per hour.. but hey we Average Joe doesnt care much bout things around us.. the company is the most important..

Hey at least we still have the Beach





No 1 can stop the Average Joe in the Beach.. theres just so much things we can amuse our self..





Never forget Gilbert.. this is the last we saw him.. truly tradegy..

Okay the Long Holiday session... i still cant imaging finally i have 11 days long off work.. this is from an Average Joe who really hate wat he do for living.. 11 days of waking up late, watch tv, sun tanning & hunting for cheap stuff.. i cannot get enough of it..

The original Average Plan is to head down to Sing a Poor.. but the Sun is scream at us.. So we decide to head down to our mini Average Beach trip.. Pic will be up next post.. still awaiting for my camera man to develop the pic..

We Average Joe not a big fun on Christmas nor New Year Eve thingy.. is always jamm pack with car / parking / people.. & dun even get me start wif the ridiculous dinner packages..

So we always head to our usual buddies for some good Average home cooked Christmas dinner.. Thanks Ms. Jubes & Ms. Pak Sek.. Christmas will never be AVERAGE without ur all..

Woo hooooooo!!! A big shout out to Mr Average Joe - Happy 26th!

Age is just numbers. And numbers are overrated. And often inflated =P

Since today is Mr Average big day - this is my post dedicated to my best friend. Darling, consider this an appetizer to your pressies k?

Let's start on how I get to know Mr Average. Yik Hoong, before known as Mr Average, was once nicknamed as Nakata. Well, I am not sure whether it was a nickname that
others gave him or he labeled himself synonymous with the Japanese heartthrob =P. If my memory doesn't fail me, I have known Average for roughly six years. At that point of time, he was sporting a lion mane and wearing jersey day-in,day out. Evidenced in the picture below



Ever since then, college life became more interesting. From hanging out under the tree in the smoking area, weekly clubbing in Atmosphere (remember that?) to taking Kumz dad's car to Genting (along with our dive outta the car adventure!!). Life was beautiful - full of joy and no worries. Just friends. And Havaiannas. And Long John Silver. And not forgetting - Adidas. Wu Tang Clan yo.

Then the saddest part came, Average left me and Kumz and head over to Perth



Finally, he came back after for good after two years. And the whole cycle resume, at where it was left.



Over the years, of coz, we have bonded to be best mates. From numerous holidays together. When there is beach involves, the Joes will be there!







When there is a beach, there will be beach football....



Average Joe - incomplete without his favvy BBQ! Fire starting, cooking and making hard burned toast are his specialties!





We would be kinda incomplete without the beers, aight?





Not to forget, Mr Average is a fashionable dude. As shown in the picture below. Too bad I do not have that picture of him in Yenz satin boxer right now. That would be the cream of the crop!



How can we forget the sneakkerrrss??

Since the last post by Average was fashion-related, I thought I would just continue with it. The key point stressed was : ACCESSORIZE. And I couldn't agree more -with how accessorizing could actually bring out an outfit better. Count on your accessories to complement your outfit, to bring more colours and to spice things up!



Outta the lot of pictures that I scout from the Net on men with accessories, this is my favourite. The accessory here: just a simple silver cuff. By the way, I like his stripey shorts. All-in-all, the ensemble is easy to put up and totally suitable for our weather. Oh, and I like his arms =P



For the collection of pictures above, I like some of it - while the others are nothing much "fashionable" about them. My favourite of the lot is in Mr Kanye! Haha. I sound like Average and his Kanye obsession =P. The Tiffany colourwave sunnies and belt just make the grey/black ensemble (otherwise boring, but then again, boring is not a word that you used to describe a man that beat 50 Cent ass) pop out.Notice the same shade hanky peeping out in his pocket. Lovely!

I absolutely adore the whole suit on man no 2. I have no idea who he is =P. Well, at least I know his suit rox! As for the others, Adam Brody,Adam Levine and Penn Badgley - I think you guys are absolutely hot, but nothing noteworthy about your outfit.



Funny as it seems, it's kinda ironic for a man with suit bringing his skateboard - corporate vs street. Don't you think that the board is gives a nice touch as an accessory?



The last one of the lot, radiates sorta grungy geeky look. I like geek glasses. Check out Facebook pictures where we partied and posed with Pretty's boy geeky glasses in one of TAG nights. So hot! As for scarf, as long as it is made of thin/sheer material, it will be fine to be worn in our country. The belt with huge ass belt buckle, well, just remind me of Average's belt buckles in multi forms. lol
